MUSIC BROWSER
Preview Now
Opens the player and plays a soundclip of the tune. If the player is already open clicking this will push this tune to the top of the
list.
Queue in Player
Places the tune in the player at the bottom of the queue.
A - Z
Lists the tunes in the database in alphabetical order.
Just Added
Lists the tunes in the database in order of the most recently added
tunes.
Most Popular
Lists the tunes in the database according to which tunes have sold the most
units.
Random
Lists the tunes in the database in Random order.
Just 4 You
Grooveclick can work out what unes may be of interest to you based on tunes you have bought in the past and tunes other people with similar tastes as you have
bought.
THE G PLAYER
Preview Player
The preview player section of the G-Player is for listening to soundclips of tunes. If you click the .preview. link for a tune it will automatically play in the G-Player. If you click .Queue in player. it will place it in the next available place in the queue. To skip to another preview in the queue simply double click it and it will
play.
Music Library (Still in development)
The music library works in much the same way as the Preview player except it will play tunes you have previously bought or tunes you have uploaded for sale yourself, you can think of it as being your own personal
jukebox.
Radio
Tune into the Grooveclick radio station. Go to the radio page on the site to see who is
playing.
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
Account Summary
Shows a general overview of your account.
Upload Music
Remember if you get confused on this page, simply click the help button in the top right
corner.
Song Title:
Enter the name of the song here. Do not enter the artist name or the name of the
remix.
Catalogue Number:
This field is optional.
Artist: (This field will only appear if you are uploading from a label
membership)
Enter the artist name by clicking on select. If the artist is already a member then you can search for them and then link to them. If they are not already a member then you then their artist profile must be created before proceeding any further. Please be aware that the artist will be sent an authorisation request and the tune will not show on the site until it has been authorised (once authorised, this will not be required again).
Label: (This field will only appear if you are uploading from a artist
membership)
If this track is signed to a particular label you need to add that information here. If they are not already a member then you then their artist label must be created before proceeding any further. Please be aware that the label will be sent an authorisation request and the tune will not show on the site until it has been authorised (once authorised, this will not be required again). If the track is unsigned leave this section blank. Please note that if you assign a recording to a label then all revenue recieved will go to the
label.
Collaborators:
If you have more than one artist for this tune you can add up to 2 collaborators here. The procedure is the same as for adding artists except if your search fails to find the artist you want you may use your own entry without having to create an artist profile. If this artist joins later you will be able to link to
them.
Remixers:
If this is a remix you can add up to 2 remixers names here. The procedure is the same as for adding
collaborators.
Description:
Enter a short description of the tune here. This field is optional.
Genre:
Select the genre you want the tune to be listed in. The secondary genre field is for tunes that cross over into a different genre. please do not insert your tune into a secondary genre for the hell of it because you think it will generate more sales as this can be annoying for people searching for a specific genre and finding random tunes in there.
Selling Price:
Choose how much you want to sell your tune for. or maybe you want to give it away? the choice is
yours.
Artwork File:
Upload your artwork here. The dimensions for your artwork should be as follows: 460 pixels x 460 pixels. If you do not upload any artwork for this track it will show your artist logo by
default.
High Quality WAV or 320k MP3 file.
Upload the MP3 file that you will be selling to the public. This must be
320kbps.
We advise that you encode your tunes to MP3 yourself but if you are unable to do this for any reason then you can upload the wav file and we will do the encoding for you. PLEASE NOTE: If you choose to use this feature it is your responsibility to download the mp3 and check the quality. Also, the upload time of WAV files will be longer than that of
MP3's.
Clip Start Time (mm:ss):
Your Soundclip will be made Automatically. Choose the start point for where you want the 64kbps preview soundclip to
start.
Clip Length (mm:ss) (Max 2 minutes):
Choose the length of the preview soundclip.
Music for sale
Shows the music you have for sale and allows you to edit them.
Music Purchased
Shows the music you have bought.
Financials
Shows you what tunes you have sold and the amount of revenue you have accrued.
Statistics
Shows you how many people have asked for tune alerts and how many people have previewed your tunes plus much
more.
My Alerts
You can request that certain labels or artists send you an alert whenever a new tune is uploaded to their
catalogue.
Authorisations
When a label uploads a tune for a certain member, an authorisation request will be sent to the artist to approve the label to upload tunes for them. This also works the other way round for artists uploading to a label. Once you have done this once you will not need to do it again.
Favourites
Make a list of your favourite artists and labels for fast navigation.

Bookmark threads in the forum that you are following
